We are an independent Democratic club affiliated with the Hamilton County Democratic Party. Built by and for Evanston neighbors, we organize our precincts and community year-round.
We are building a table for everyone in Evanston to have a seat at; no more being just a knock at your door during an election cycle.
We elect Democrats who fight for the progressive values of fairness, equity, and opportunity, and show up for our Evanston community between elections.

To build lasting Democratic power in Evanston, the Educating Community, by showing up between elections, fighting for a progressive agenda residents can see and feel, and putting leadership in the hands of the people who live here.
Evanston is the Educating Community, and we are its Democratic club: independent, built by and for the neighbors who live here, organizing our precincts and our community all year.
We are building a table where everyone in Evanston has a seat, not a knock at your door every two years.
We are progressive because Evanston's priorities are progressive: safe streets, housing people can afford to stay in, strong schools, and a business district owned by the people who live here. We elect Democrats who fight for that, and we show up between elections to make sure it happens.

CO-FOUNDERS
Elizabeth serves as Ward Chair and Precinct Executive, and co-founded the club to give Evanston Democrats & Progressives a permanent home for organizing, service, and neighborhood connection.
Melanie serves as Precinct Executive for 3-E and co-founded the club to build lasting connections between Evanston neighbors, volunteers, and the right Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.

Our Goals
Six commitments. All of them things you can watch us do.
Accountability
We track the priorities Evanston has already named and tell you plainly what is moving and what is stalled: housing stabilization, follow-through on the neighborhood's own Work Plan, and the schools and institutions that make Evanston the Educating Community.
Safety
We combat gun violence and crime by treating safety as a neighborhood priority, not a campaign slogan. We are building a working relationship with Cincinnati Police and our District rooted in accountability and mutual respect, with a direct line between residents and the officers who patrol here, and support for violence prevention programs that reach young people before harm happens.
Business District
We are building up Evanston's Business District as the neighborhood's front door. We spotlight the owners already here, hold club events where they do business, drive traffic to their doors, and push for the investment that brings more resident-owned storefronts to the corridor.
Leadership from Within
We recruit and develop Evanston residents into real roles: Precinct Executives, ward leadership, club officers, committee chairs, and canvass captains. We connect with Evanston's schools, the university, and young families so the next generation of leaders comes from here.
Electoral Power
We turn presence and trust into votes: growing registration and turnout in Evanston's precincts, electing progressive Democrats who answer to this neighborhood, helping turn Ohio blue, and giving Evanston one coordinated voice beyond the neighborhood.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Get to Know Evanston
Evanston is a neighborhood located four miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati. Known as the Educating Community, a resident can go from pre-school through college without leaving Evanston.
Xavier University and the nationally ranked Walnut Hills High School reside in the neighborhood. It is also the home of the world-famous King Records. With 9,158 residents, Evanston is the 10th largest neighborhood in the city.

- Xavier University: A prominent private Jesuit university anchoring the neighborhood's eastern edge.
- Walnut Hills High School: A nationally renowned college-prep public magnet school serving grades 7–12.
